Eindrücke aus der Schule

Das Fach Biologie ist mit zwei Stunden vertreten. Bis auf die 9. Jahrgangsstufe begleitet es die Schülerinnen und Schüler die ganze Schulzeit an der Karl-Meichelbeck-Realschule. Einige Inhalte aus dem HSU Unterricht der Grundschule werden erneut aufgegriffen und dem Alter entsprechend vertieft.
Chemie ist das, wo’s pufft und stinkt ... Ganz so ist das natürlich nicht, aber beides kann schon mal vorkommen. Der Chemieunterricht beginnt für die Schüler*innen, die ab Klasse 7 den mathematisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Zweig wählen in der Klasse 8, für alle anderen in Klasse 9.
Dieses Fach ist ein Dauerbrenner von der 5. bis zur 10. Klasse. Was du da lernst, kannst du auch in anderen Fächern, privat und im weiteren Leben gewinnbringend einsetzen:
Deutsch sprichst du und du kennst es als Fach aus der Grundschule. An dem, was du da gelernt hast, schließen wir an!
Du kannst das Rechtschreiben üben und deine Fähigkeiten hoffentlich bis zum Rechtschreibprofi erweitern. Du kannst üben und vertiefen, dich richtig und abwechslungsreich auszudrücken, beim Sprechen wie beim Schreiben.
„Der Englischunterricht der Realschule legt besonderen Wert auf die Ausbildung zu offenen, interkulturell kommunikationsfähigen jungen Menschen, die sich fundierte, praxistaugliche und ausbaufähige Kenntnisse in der englischen Sprache angeeignet haben und diese ohne Scheu anwenden.“
Dieser Auszug aus dem Fachprofil Englisch im LehrplanPlus für Bayerische Realschulen (www.lehrplanplus.bayern.de) lässt deutlich erkennen, dass unser Hauptaugenmerk im Fach Englisch darauf liegt, die kommunikative Kompetenz unserer Schüler*innen in jeder Hinsicht zu fördern und auszubauen.
Das Fach Ethik will den Schülern eine Orientierungshilfe bei Fragen und Problemen aus ihrem unmittelbaren Erfahrungsbereich in Alltag, Familie und Schule geben. Im Lauf der Schulzeit weitet sich der Blick auf größere Zusammenhänge und wichtige ethische Probleme und Antworten. Dabei hat das Fach im Fächerkanon der Realschule die Aufgabe, die Schüler bei ihrer Suche nach eigenen Lebenszielen und dem damit verbundenen Zurechtfinden in der Gesellschaft zu unterstützen. Die individuelle Entfaltung der Persönlichkeit soll im Bewusstsein sozialer Bindungen auf der Grundlage von Wertmaßstäben gefördert werden, die einer pluralistischen Gesellschaftsordnung entsprechen.
Das Fach Französisch kann an der Realschule in der 7. Jahrgangsstufe gewählt werden.
Im Französischunterricht erlernen die Schüler*innen nicht nur eine weitere moderne Fremdsprache, sondern erschließen sich den bedeutenden französischen Sprachraum, denn die Sprache wird von über 200 Millionen Menschen auf allen 5 Kontinenten gesprochen.
Das Unterrichtsfach Geographie beginnt an der Realschule bereits in der 5. Jahrgangsstufe und zieht sich ohne Unterbrechung durch bis zur 9. Klasse. Im ersten Jahr knüpfen wir in vielen Bereichen an das in der Grundschule erlangte Wissen aus dem Fach HSU an.

Das Fach Geschichte soll dir eine Orientierung in den verschiedenen Epochen Antike, Mittelalter und Neuzeit ermöglichen. Auch die Vermittlung grundlegender Kompetenzen zur Erschließung von Quellen, vor allem von Texten, Bildern, Karten und Statistiken soll dasVerständnis vergangener Zeiten erleichtern.
Der IT-Unterricht an der Karl-Meichelbeck-Realschule beginnt bereits in der 5. Jahrgangsstufe. Dort werden u. a. Grundlagen im Umgang mit der digitalen Technik vermittelt, erste Schritte zum sicheren 10-Finger-Tastschreiben gegangen und Regeln für ein angemessenes Verhalten im Internet erlernt.
Der Kunstunterricht findet an der Karl-Meichelbeck-Realschule von der 5. – 9. Jahrgangsstufe statt. Dieser will die Schüler*innen dazu befähigen, Bildsprache zu verstehen und anzuwenden. Dies geschieht in drei Lernbereichen, welche vielfach untereinander vernetzt sind.
Der Mathematikunterricht der Realschule knüpft an das in der Grundschule erworbene Wissen an und erweitert dieses. Der Fachlehrplan Mathematik ist in mehrere Lernbereiche (Zahlen und Operationen, Größen und Messen, Raum und Form, Funktionaler Zusammenhang, Daten und Zufall) unterteilt, welche in jeder Jahrgangsstufe immer wieder neu aufgegriffen und vertieft werden. Zudem lernen die Schüler*innen historische Persönlichkeiten sowie deren Arbeitsweisen kennen und entdecken so den Wert der Mathematik als Kulturgut allgemein.
Der Musikunterricht an der Karl-Meichelbeck-Realschule beginnt in der 5. Jahrgangsstufe. Dort werden u. a. Grundlagen der Musik erarbeitet. Das Projekt „Dancing Classroom“ bietet den Schüler*innen in der 5. Klasse die Chance, unter anderem im gemeinsamen Tanzen „angewandten Respekt" zu erleben, ja einen noblen Umgang miteinander zu lernen. Dabei ist der Tanz neben Spiel und Spaß auch Mittel zum Zweck von Erziehung.
Das Fach Physik beschäftigt sich an der Realschule mit den vier Bereichen Materie, Energie, Wechselwirkungen und Systemen im Gleich- und Ungleichgewicht. Darin enthalten sind unter anderem die Themengebiete Bewegungslehre (Kinematik), Lehre vom Licht (Optik), Elektrizitätslehre und Atom- und Kernphysik. Ziel des Physikunterrichts ist es, den Schüler*innen die Bedeutung der Physik für unsere Lebenswelt nahe zu bringen.
Der Religionsunterricht der evangelischen und katholischen Kirche eröffnet Schülerinnen und Schülern die Möglichkeit, ihren Fragen nach dem Woher, Wozu und Wohin ihres Lebens und insbesondere der Frage nach Gott nachzugehen. Sie suchen nach überzeugenden Sinnentwürfen für ihr Leben sowie nach Wegen für ein friedliches und gerechtes Zusammenleben mit anderen Menschen. Diese Fragen und Sehnsüchte eröffnen den jungen Menschen einen spezifischen, religiösen Zugang zur Wirklichkeit.
Das Fach Sport zieht sich von der 5. bis zur 10. Jahrgangsstufen zweistündig durch. Du erlernst neben den Basisballsportarten (Basketball, Volleyball, Handball und Fußball) auch verschiedene Disziplinen der Leitathletik. Auch das klassische Turnen kommt nicht zu kurz.
Der Werken-Unterricht findet an der Karl-Meichelbeck-Realschule ab der 7. Klasse für die Schüler statt, die die Wahlpflichtfächergruppe IIIb gewählt haben. Dort werden sowohl praktische als auch theoretische Inhalte zu den Werkbereichen Holz, Papier, Plastische Massen (Ton), Metall und Kunststoff gelehrt.
Die Fächer aus dem Bereich Wirtschaftswissenschaften starten an der Realschule in der 7. Klasse. Als praxis- und berufsorientierte Fächer tragen „Betriebswirtschaftslehre / Rechnungswesen“ und „Wirtschaft und Recht“ zu einer breiten ökonomischen Grundbildung an der Realschule bei.
